hello, i am new to this site and have been a sho owner/enthusiast since last February when i purchased my green 93 atx with 128xxx miles on the clock and completely fell in love with the sho, i am in the middle of an atx to mtx conversion due to a failed atx tranny and the hate of driving an auto, all my other cars have been 5 speeds and a 5 speed taurus is just the shit! i am using the 3.2l engine with the 3.0l accessories and transmission and so on, i noticed that the 120A atx alternator has a 3 wire connector but the 90A mtx alternator only has a 2 wire connector, i am using the atx computer and wiring harness and i know other people have done the same, so what is needed to be done to connect the 2 wire alternator to the 3 wire socket? also does anyone ense have any tips on doing this swap? i already have the transmission on and the 3.0l timing setup, waterpump, accessory brackets, accessories, and petal setup on the car, the subframe isnt on yet since im waiting on engine mounts and the upgraded 3rd gen subframe mounts, the engine is being supported from above, i read that the engine is moved back a few inches and i need to remove the atx ac canister, i have the 3.2 ac compressor and clutch bolted to the 3.0l engine bracket, along with the 3.2l ps pump bolted to the 3.0l engine bracket with the 3.0l pully, any advice or tips would be great!

I just finished a 3.2 mtx swap. I used the plug off of the 3.0 Alternator. I only have a couple of minor issues to deal with. The cruise control and the A/C. No big deal.
The car runs great.
I won't hesitate to do another swap. Having a donor car is the answer to doing the swap.
