If there is/are open vacuum leaks and the secondaries can't open, the car won't run correctly. The secondaries should have 1 location on each bank of intake butterflies. Should look like an oblong flying saucer with a hose barb coming out. Each bank has secondary butterfly valves to open the second set of runners. You need good vacuum and they can get sludgy and maybe need some cleaning/****. I never had issues with mine other than maybe a hose rotted and replaced.

Check out that old thread I linked. There was a malfunctioning vacuum part on there that you can't tell by eyeballing it. That thread has a few nuggets to consider what to look at.

That valve thingy is a schrader valve. Think tire valve but for liquid fuel. You can put a gauge on it to measure fuel pressure at the fuel rail. It usually has a plastic cap.

is this the vaccuum line to secondaries? if it is, where does the other line go, the other side of the T delved into the runners so im assuming that side goes to secondaries? but the burnt end is a mystery

Shosource website has vacuum line kits. Very high quality, i got a red set. I think they were silicone but its been a nearly 2 years since i installed them. Also got new ignition wires at the same time and coupler hoses

There are you tube videos of Gen 2 cars accelerating, you can compare those to your car

The ATX trannys are not that strong from the factory, if you abuse them, they will fail sooner than they should. Just be prepared to shell out funds for a rebuild. If you treat them right and do all the maintenance, they will last over 300K (NoSlo has a 93 ATX and he is on his original transmission). My 94 ATX is on the second rebuild, first one at 85K and the second at 125K. Shosource at one time had a rebuilder that would beef up the ATX transmission, but I don't think the option is there anymore. You could contact them to see if they can still get the Road Ripper 1000

This might be a bit off topic but what about AX4S in Taurus with police package? Aren`t that tranny built tough?

I'll have to look at a manual. I can't make out everything in the video. I need to see what goes where and back trace lines. I don't have this stuff memorized and have to use understanding of concepts while looking at certain things. My SHO is parked 30 miles away so I don't have something closeby to look at and compare.

I assume this is correct but I have to see alot more than those short clips can get. What's under there? What's over there? What attaches to what in the back and over on the other side etc.

From that link above. Here is the vacuum line routing with pictures. There is no vacuum line that is supposed to not be attached to something as a general rule. Vacuum leaks make cars run like doo doo as a general rule. We all have to start learning when we own cars like these because it is always something.

Looks like the check engine light kicked on after that acceleration I'd definitely check that out could be spark issue

im guessing that is from a rich condition bc of misfires from the ignition module going bad, so a spark issue but itd never been this bad
