ATX shifting question

Trans works great over all. Overdrive stuck on. Has comp. with shift point setup. shifts 1-2nd hard. 2-3rd 3-4 secs. if you let off the gas and step on it again it slips and grabs after 3-4 sec. it should engage right away after you step on the gas from a coast? and not act like it is in neutral for 3-4 secs and then grab?:wave:

Sounds like your transmission is NFG.

That transmission is on it way out.... Mine did something like your before it gave up the ghost! Oh and take the trans out yourself and save yourself almost 1500 bucks!

Is it as hard to change as an MTX. or easier? I have done a MTX before.

It's harder to do than an MTX.

It weigh's more and has more fastener's.

You pretty much have to take the motor out for this trans! Some will say no! But it will be easier to take all of those bolts nice and easy!
