I've done allot of searches but can't find a definite belt size for the accessory belt size for a 93atx with the a/c being bypassed. I could go measure with a string but right now the tensioner pulley is off.

Does anyone know the correct size and/or part number for the accy. belt and also how to route the belt that bypasses the a/c pulley.

Also where is the cutout line to the a/c compressor to disengage the compressor?

I personally don't know the belt length but, Adam Varney found one and he would know what size or part #. To disengage the compressor you can either unplug it, or the low pressure swith. The compressor has a power plug on it's side facing the radiator right behind the pulley of the compressor. The low pressure swith is ontop of the accumulator next to the firewall. Just unplug either of those and you won't have to worry about the compressor coming on. So, why do you need to do this? Did your compressor seize?

All I know is one day my a/c just stop blower cold air. Also the plate on the a/c pulley is dangling off. When I try and turn on the a/c now I get this very loud noise coming from the pulley as if you are sticking a metal pole through a metal home fan while the fan is spinning. My a/c has been out for almost two years though.

And here in Chicago with the summer time weather pretty much over I don't plan on doing anything with the a/c

Thanks

Sounds like you are having a problem with the AC clutch/pulley assembly. Well, if you just want to elimiate the compressor and trouble shoot it later just unplug the wire on the front of the compressor facing the radiator and it will just be another pulley. As, for getting the belt off of it- try PMing Adam I think his name is AV101.
