I have to replace my ps pump in my 94 ATX. I searched and found a few good write ups on here but almost all of them are MTX ps pump removal. It doesn't look too hard but I'm just curious if anyone has any tips or any suggestions as to what tools I may need.

The atx is slightly easier because the engine is a few inches forward, so there is a little more room in the back. Its a pita due to the one bolt that is in from the back side of the pump, so you either need little hands/arms to get down in there, or a bunch of long extensions to run the wrench all the way along the side/back of the engine.

Everyone on here had me worried about changing the PS steering pump on my 94 ATX. I removed it today and it only took about 1 hour to do and in case someone does a search the right motor mount doesn't need to be removed, you just have to remove one of the top bolts. So there is actually two bolts behind the PS steering pump that are kind of a PITA to get to. I'll be installing the new one tomorrow and I doubt it will take me more than an hour to do.
