Ok I have been having on going issues with my 93 ATX, I thought my trany was ***** but after fixing my O/D switch so I could run my KOEO & KOER tests I got the following codes:

KOER
225 Knock Sensor (no brainer)
536 BOO ????

KOEO
212 IDM Ckt. Failure (Whats the IDM?)
214 SPOUT Ckt. OPEN (Whats my SPOUT?)
452 VSS (YES MY TRANY AINT SHOT! But my Knuckles will be by the time I get a new one in)

Any help or direction would be great on the 536, 212,214 codes. Or when I replace the VSS will that help with alot of the issues?

I'll go look at the others but if you didn't apply the brakes during the test it throws the 536. Nothing to worry about.

I have had issues with my shifter being locked after IU press my breaks, I pulled my plugged and cleaned the connectors and it has been fine for about a month now, at least when I hit the breaks it will let me push the botton in and shift into gear...

At least with regards to your tranny problem(s), the 536 and 452 codes will both effect tranny operation negatively. The VSS is more responsible for overall tranny operation, but the BOO (brake on off switch) will also prevent the torque converter clutch form engaging at less than 1/3 throttle, or it will leave the clutch engaged when you step on the brake.

OK I found that 212 and 214 are my CID which means pulling the side of the motor appart....

225 konck sensor and I have been hearing kocking a liitle, so pull the top of the motor off and replace it.

452 VSS drop the cats and have lots of fun...

Sooo While i have my motor appart and being it has 145K on it and the 60K has never been done, I have replaced my water pump and timing belt. What else should I do while I am into this thing this far? I am not looking to make a 10 second car eaither so lets keep it to basic mantaince. The car has been running very well up till now its just the Trany had problems going into 1 st at stops unless the OD was off. I know strange but true I tested that ALOT!!

Any input/help is always appreciated.

225 (R) Knock sensor not tested (ignore if not pinging)
536 (O,R,M) Brake On Off open or shorted to ground
212 (M) Ignition TACH signal was erratic (module/wiring) or SPOUT circuit fault
214 (M) Error in Cylinder ID (CID) circuit or signal

The 225 does not mean the knock sensor needs replacing, only that knock was not detected during the test. There may not have been any knock to detect during the test. As stated in the description above, if you don't hear a lot of pinging, don't worry.

The 536 would prevent your brake lights from working and your cruise control from being disengaged if it is real. There is a chance you didn't hit the brake pedal when prompted during the KOER test. You may want to run this test again.

The 212 and 214 point to the cylinder identification (CID) sensor, also known as the camshaft position sensor. You can get the Wells F134 from AutoZone for $29.99. It is held onto the passenger end of the rear bank exhaust camshaft by two 5.5mm (7/32") bolts.
