Unless he does a lot of 60K's, it's unlikely he'll have the tools to do the shims either. Let me know if you need to borrow a set.

As far as meeting in St. Augustine that day, Nick and I are planning to head down there sometime this coming week (probably Tuesday or Thursday, whenever we can get a day off together) and find the shop (looks like it's right off of 95) and find a place we can all go for dinner afterward and get a good meal before everyone heads home. There are some nice water-front restaurants in the historic district, however some of them are a little pricey. I'll try to keep the cost factor low for everyone since you're all traveling here.

Smithsil, if you can't make it to the dyno meet on the 29th to hang out, let me know if you just wanna meet up and hang out sometime before then! I'm only about 40 mins north of St. Augustine, in Jacksonville. You can PM me or my cell number is 904-631-4791.

As far as how many people are going... there's a lot of "I'll be there..." but I've yet to receive any of the required deposits. There's still a week left to get those in. So far I know for sure that Nick and I will both be there with our cars (I will probably not be dyno-ing mine), and SuperSHO Chris will be there (TOO MANY CHRIS'S TO KEEP TRACK OF!). I emailed my friend about a week ago (also named Chris!) that is involved in a state-wide Neon and SRT4 club and asked him to pass on the information to his crew but haven't heard back from him and have yet to see it posted on their forums, so I'm not sure if we'll have anyone from that group joining us. By all means, if you have friends that are interested, bring them!

Saturday's the due date for deposits... come on people! I thought you all were going!
And an update on location and time: Nick and I will be going to St. Augustine on Thursday to scope out a restaurant for post-dyno eating. Looks like we're just going to have everyone meet up at the shop because it's only a mile and a half off of I95. www.fordpartsnetwork.com for directions.

Hmm... doesn't look like the SHO will be able to make it. I made a change in my plans and won't have the engine built until at the end of next week at the earliest. Then it still has to be put in and all issues sorted out. So there's a chance it will be able to make it, but I doubt it. I don't want to make a deposit because I don't think it will be ready, but what if it ends up that I can dyno the car?

I'll be there either way.

Just in case anyone is interested...

A friend of mine has a fully optioned green/mocha 94 ATX sitting in his backyard with a shot tranny and spun rod bearings. The car has 96 brakes, 26mm rear sway bar, and maybe a couple other odds and ends. Almost every sensor has very few miles on it. Car is in kinda rough shape, but has lots of usable parts. If anybody needs/wants anything, I'd be glad to bring stuff to the dyno day. Let me know in advance so we have time to pull the parts.

I sent you a pm! :thumb:

I didn't notice the 26mm sway bar, I'd like to see about that too! :naughty:

Also, is the intake in good shape? I wouldn't mind having an extra one around the house!

Don't care, it's gotta be sanded and repainted anyway. :) Any idea how much he wants for it or is he just trying to get rid of stuff?

Alright, here is the final headcount:

We have a whopping total of THREE people committed to dyno, one of which is definitely doing the chip/tuning deal, and one that may be doing the chip/tuning.
We have roughly about 8-10 people total that are just SHOwing up with and without their cars and will hang out with us and will not be dynoing.
The plan is to meet at the dyno facility at 12:00pm SHARP. This gives you guys that are far away the option of leaving early in the morning instead of coming up the night before and staying. We'll spend a few hours there, then head to Milltop for dinner. Whatever else you guys want to do afterward (if you want to do anything) is fine.

I truly feel bad that I won't be able to dyno my car. I feel like I've let the club down or something. Stupid car.

Now I need to go do some super-slouthing to locate a set of impossible to find main bearings so my car will be running for the next meet.

Alright, everyone that is meeting at my house should arrive between 8:30 to 9:00. This gives us time to check over vehicles, and wait for others before we caravan. If you are meeting at my place please post it for sure so I know who to expect so no one gets left behind. You don't have to post today...just do so before Saturday morning. This gives us plenty of time to get to the facility just in case anything unexpected happens. Cameras and camcorders are definitly welcome. Lets get some good footage for the FSHOC webpage since this is our first true meet. This will also be a great time to meet everyone that attends so you know who the person really is behind their screen name.

Good point, Chris! Looking forward to meeting everyone else I haven't met yet... which actually will be everyone except Chris! :p
Kelvin, at least your heart's in the right place. :thumb: We love you, even though your car doesn't! Just make sure you fix that thing at least before the Convention, that will be biggest SHO event we'll be attending!
So it looks like we're all set and ready to go. Also, just a FOREWARNING (Chris actually already knows this), I don't go anywhere without my camera so be prepared to be flashed in the face all day long (no, not like that!), cause we definitely need some content for the FSHOC site! I also want to get a nice group photo of all of us together at the city gate or something. Maybe one with all our cars too.
