The dyno meet at Ford Parts Network will take place on Saturday, January 29th, exact time TBA.
Just a reminder that a 50% deposit toward your dyno time and/or chip tuning is due by January 15th. Prices are as follows:

• $60 for three dyno pulls with air/fuel metering
• $300 for a multi-program chip and up to one hour of dyno tuning for optimal performance (at least 3 cars required for this price, retail on the chip alone is $325! We're getting a super deal!)

Deposits by paypal are recommended, to [email protected], or if you choose to write a check or send a money order, PM me for the name and address to send payment to. This deposit will be paid to FPN toward your dyno time or tuning, and is non-refundable, so be absolutely sure that you will commit to attending. The rest of your balance will be due at the meet.

How many are committing to the chip? I definitly am doing it but what happens if there are only 2 cars total that can get it? Also if anyone south of Melbourne/Palm Bay wants to caravan let me know...I am 5 minutes off I95. Heck if members want to they can meet up at my house and go from there.

I am not sure about the price if you are the only one, so I will have Nick check into it and I will post an update as soon as we hear. We would like to chip the '93 but aren't sure if fundage will allow as of yet because we might be moving into a house soon and Nick is just starting a new job.

hmmmm im pretty sure im gonna be able to make it now...like 85% sure and get the tuning id like to meet up w/you chris before we go up...we do drive SHO's LOL...id just drive down there its only like 25 min or so from my house...by the way Tara where did you get the clear headlights for your 1st gen...one more question is it ok if my friend goes up with us??? he likes SHO's but he's too poor to buy one.....LOL :laugh_ti:

Its looking like I may go for the chip tune for now instead of dropping the cash for a laptop and TwEECer. Then that money can go towards suspension or a Quaife/ rebuilt MTX. That is of course if I have the car ready. I'll definitely go even if the SHO isn't ready.

I'm down for a caravan from the south.

im about 85% sure im gonna come down. Due to various reasons (like the long freaking drive! lol) ill most likely just hang out on not run my car on the dyno, because it's not ready for it, aka too many problems, lol. I'm pretty excited about it:corn:

I may trailer my car so that I can rag on it with no fear.

I haven't driven this car much at all since I've owned it, and something is always breaking with it, and its going to have new almost everything with no time on it, and then there's the drive home. Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me. With my luck, something will end up breaking.

So, better safe than sorry.

Kelvin: Good idea trailering. That'd be what I'd do if I didn't live 45 minutes away.

Headlights: I bought them on ebay. They are much clearer than I expected them to be... they're almost perfect!
And yes, it's ok to bring friends.

Great I will post directions to get to my house when the time comes. I will be driving the 91. **** it made it from TN to FL and I have been to St Augustine and back already so whats another trip. Kelvin it would be awesome if there is another one interested in the chip...Torrie says about $400 for chip+tuning if I am the only one (thats how it looks so far) Hopefully that will drop the price down a bit. Bring your friends, hopefully we can con them into buying a SHO and join the club.

ive got a pretty good insurance check coming in a few more days once i get that then my 89 is gonna get the total 60k....i need one bad!!!! as long as that goes ok then i can come up and get tuned w/the chip either way ill be there oh!! by the way i ordered the acrylic finishing kit for my headlights the one that was in that thred i should get it soon ill let you all know how it goes for you all that have yellow headlights like me

Things aren't looking too good for my car right now. Cams still haven't been ground, and I ran into a problem with my heads. I was almost to the home stretch before I screwed up. With school starting this week, and a motor to put together and install, I've got a bit of work to do. So we'll see. But it looks like if the car is dynoable I will be having it tuned with the chip.

I talked to friend and he may be interested in having his 00 GT tuned as well, if its ready (its in the shop right now).

Unfortunately, I cannot make it to the dyno, I have a Martial Arts Seminar to attend that weekend (The head of all Pentjak Silat schools in America is coming to visit my dad, he said he'd do a free seminar).
