Two things come to mind: 1. What altitude are you racing at? If you're up in the stratosphere, then your times will be much higher. 2. You may be having a problem with your IMRC. Sometimes the pulley for the cable that opens the secondary intake runners fails, leaving your car gasping for air... and not getting it. Info for this problem is on v8sho.com.
Best bang for the buck for a go fast part would be to get a Zex nitrous setup wink 245 at the wheels baby!
