are 91 and 92 axles interchangeable

I need an axle for my 92 and have acceess to one on a 91, are they the same or interchangeable. I am not sure if the 91 has ABS or not, butI do know it is a + model if that helps any.

The 90 and 91 SHOs had ABS on them according to SHOTimes, so I would say it'd be a fine swap. Or spend a little money on an axle replacement with a lifetime guarentee.

It will work. I went the other way, from a 92 to a 91 with no problems.

If you are referring to the CV shafts, you can get remanufactured shafts with rebuilt CV joints, new grease, new boots and ABS rings for $59.99 with a lifetime warranty from O'Reilly Auto Parts. The left shaft is the A1 Cardone 60-2031 and the right is 60-2034. Both for $59.99 with a $30 core charge.
