Aprox. Weight of 3.0 Engine

Anyone out there know the aprox. weight of the 3.0 or 3.2 Yamaha. Im concidering it for a front engine RWD kitcar application and was curious. Any ideas?

I believe someone said it was around 600 pounds.

I think it's more like 426 pounds.

425 or so if you have all accessories. Without A/C, alt, starter, I believe it is around 385lbs.

Great thanks everyone. I have one more question if anyone knows. What would be a good transmission setup if I were to use a SHO motor in a Rear wheel drive kitcar application . I have seen a SHO motor in a Shelby cobra and wondered what they used for a Trans/rear end. Any Ideas?
