Apparently, Ford has decided not to grace us all with an updated, much-lighter-than-last-year SHO for 2016. It appears to be... the same... exact... car - but with Sync 3. However, at least they've not killed it off for one more year. At least, this all according to the "final specs" for the 2016 SHO on Ford's own media site.

Seems pretty definitive to me. Maybe if we send a mass of irritated letters saying "WTF happened to the new aluminum platform we were promised for 2016, I really wanted to buy a NEW ONE, wahhhhhh" it will spur 2017 to be a redesign, rather than a ****-off. But if they do, hopefully it will be meaner looking than the Chinese edition. I'm all for sleeper looks, but I also want my car to look a little less pedestrian than the friggin' Fusion/Mondeo. The kind of looks that makes people wonder, "is that a normal car, or is it souped up... I'm not really sure."
Anyhow, at least at long last we have some official info from Ford.
