Expected to have my truck running again this weekend, but the motor is still on the stand until I can get to a dealer and get/order a front timing cover because the front crank seal is not a seperate service part (thanks GM).
On the SHO front, I managed to snap only one of the rear exaust manifold studs when I swapped them out. If I had to pick one to break, it would have been the one that broke. Drilled and tapped and all is good. Now I can go for a sticker on Tues. then the plates come off on the 24th until next year.
