Well, I dont have the abilities to host such a thing and quite frankly most of you live in the southern part of the state. I need to do some work on my car and was wondering if any of the usual suspects here were planning or contemplating a tech meet? I need to do valve cover/plug well gaskets, plugs/wires, and possibly rear struts. My car also has crap load of weird minor electrical quirks that I was gonna see if you guys had some suggestions.

I could really use the help if anyone is willing to lend a hand. The guys that know me, know I am from the Iron Range so I would make the drive, possibly get a hotel room if it would take that long to accomplish these tasks.

Any help/hosting would be more than greatly appreciated.

You could get ahold of Dan. He is now living on the range and is MORE than capable to complete any or all of those tasks. See what he says

If no deal can be worked out with you and Dan maybe someone could figure something out.

So...... Still got those tires for me?

I still have 2 sets layin around. Was gonna use one for my car this winter but never got around to having them mounted. Ideally would like to just get another set of slicers and have them always mounted. No dice for me tho lol.

I will be down there around March 7th picking up my brother from the airport. Maybe we can play by ear and try to figure something out.

Not sure if I am welcome but now that I live in Omaha, I am only 6 hours away from Minneapolis and I wouldnt mind making a little drive up there to meet some new people. I'd be down to wrench on a couple SHOs as well!

I'd be down to have some people at my new place for a tech meet.

BUT, I don't allow alcohol at my house, and the garage isn't heated.

Atleast he didn't pay anything for them back then! :thumb: believing they would be delivered in a week or two as was the plan.

Don't think thats a problem for anyone except maybe Matt? And a couple of us have torpedo heaters, which are very portable + temps should be on the upswing in a month or so.

1 drink could classify as an alcoholic compared to most if not all the rest of us who rarely if ever drink. Whats up w/that, how did you end up in this group anyways?

I know how guys like to sit around, work on cars, and drink beer. I just thought I'd throw it out there in case it's a deal breaker.
