Just like the title says. I have a gen3 non-SHO but, (still a nice taurus), that needs some ball joints replaced on it. I don't know for a fact that it NEEDS them but I have some new MOOG ball joints just sitting around, so I would like them put on.
The problem is, I baby my car to much now, and with all my aftermarket goodies that are attached to everything that has to come off in order to get to the ball joints well, I don't trust dropping my car off at any garage, unless I can watch them do the work. That way I will learn how to do it myself next time. I know that a lot of garages have younger kids working at them now and they all like to mess around with nice cars that come in, and I don't want them messing with my car.
I had someone else that was going to do them but he hasn't sent me any *** or emails in a while, so i think he's backing out of helping me with this. he wanted $100 to do the job, the right and left front ball joints.

Does anybody wanna replace these for me and make some cash?? I could pay a little more than $100 if need be. I basiclly have NO tools to do this, well, I think I have eveything, except for spring compressors (to get springs and struts out) and I don't have the press that is needed to get the ball joints in and out. But I hear they can be reanted from AZ or some place like that (they require a $100 depsoit, but that will be returned after you give back the press).

How do feel about doing the tierods (inner and outter) on both sides too??
I will pay a little more, obviously.
Just cause I want to make sure I get the problem fixed my first time throguh. And with the track meet for ROTB that's coming up in less than 2 months, I wanna make sure everything is more than top notch for that.
If this is good for you, than I could order the tierods and plan to do this, maybe this Sat, if not next Sat. As long as the weather is good for the day.
