Anyone have problems with Iphone 4 and Sync

Hey guys. Got a problem with Sync and my Iphone 4 and Ipod Touch. I can connect bluetooth for phone function. However there is no bluetooth audio. I can't even connect with the USB cable. Anyone else have this issue.

I had issues before their last o/s update a couple months ago, mine woks perfect now.

I found the most reliable way to use the iPhone 4, is to just hold it to my ear. I have used it to stream music BlueTooth, pretty cool.

How do you check the software version? I see map version 3.1. Same thing? Will Dealership upgrade software for free or is there a charge?

I think he meant the iphone sw update, not the radio software.

plug your UE into your computer and open iTunes and install the latest OS (assuming it is an AT&T iPhone). that should solve the problem. had an issue with this and a rental taurus with some of my work iPhones (3G 8gig 3GS and 4).

if that doesn't work i got nothin for ya.

Nope my i4 works perfect on the Sync system. Using the latest version of Sync and iOS too.

With my iPhone 4 (latest OS), Bluetooth audio will sometimes not play unless I start it on the iPhone. That is, I'll select it on the SHO, and I can see my phone now shows iPod controls, but nothing plays until I press the play button on the phone; pressing the play button on the SHO nav screen doesn't do anything.

I had to make sure I had the latest iOS update (4.2.something) and the latest SYNC software installed in the car to get it somewhat stable. I still get BT drops on occasion, but it works well for the most part. And I can play Pandora through SYNC, which is pretty spiffy.
