The wheels are 17 x 8, 40mm offset. The tires are 235/45-17. It's all in the offset, they actually fit in the rear pretty well. I have not had to trim the fenders, only a little at the top of the plastic ground effects where they meet the wheel lip.

Here's mine on intrax. It looks ok in this picture because it's heading downhill a little, but when on a flat the front sits too high for me. I am going to cut one coil out like terry did.

Intrax here also, the front raised up once the aluminum subframe bushings got installed. It doesn't look all the lowered, looks how it should have stock, I can't wait till some 17's!
