Got an email from my brother last night (@ Potsdam State), informing me that he ran into a fellow SHO nut on campus. Said this guy knew his stuff, knew about Mark's "SR-71" SHO, 3.2 swaps, etc. He was from AZ and owned a 92; and even mentioned the SHOforum. Its wasnt yamahaSHO, although he does fit the profile rather well.

So..... who was it? :)

It wasn't me. I wasn't there when that guy saw me. ;)

Actually I was in Delaware last week and had time over near Jersey, but I didnt dare go to NY. I wouldnt go there on a bet, so it wasnt me.

NY is one of the few places I have ever been where you can see some of the nicest cars that have come to market with scuffs and scrapes on them from driving to work. Wanna see an M3 that has Rig Rub on the doors? NY is the place.

hey, just read your posts. That was me,I met a kid driving a black 89 w/ a 91 interior swap.
Anyways....im originally from Buffalo NY, but this past summer my parents moved down to CAve Creek, AZ for the more favorable weather, I made the 2400 mile trip down there this past august(That was a blast). so if you guys see my dad driving around in a cherry 91, with NY plates give him a thumbs up, thats my ride

Well, this is your lucky day....errr, life. We just happen to have the SHO capital of the Western Hemisphere right here in Cave Creek AZ. We're having a get together at my place in Cave Creek on the 20th of this month. PM or e-mail me for directions if you can make it.

Cool!
Just changed a front wheel bearing on that car last weekend in the college parking lot, probably right where you guys met. LOL. Nothing like working in 30* weather on a sunday afternoon :squint: He sure is racking up the miles on that thing. Where are you now? In Buffalo or AZ?

If the weather's nice (haha, like it's ever bad here), we can take out The Other Woman for a spin. Bring your camera.
