Title says it all. Anyone try one? I see them on Ebay quite often under SHO parts. I got to thinking at work today, I know bad idea. Anyhow I pulled one, I work at a junkyard, out of a 91 Continental. It looks different appearance wise, but looks like it would fit okay. It has hard buttons! woohoo! I looked at the plugs on the back and the wires are all in the same pin and the same color as a Taurus EATC except 3 of them. I think I might give it a try, or does some one know for sure it won't work.
Thanks,

That one will work electrically but:
1) You will have to cut off one or both of the locating pins to get it to fit the Taurus dash.
2) The display and button lighting is green, not blue like your '93.

SWEET! By locating pin you mean the little plastic ****** on the back right? My display is green in my 93 not blue also.

Well I was test fitting it in a Taurus at work, I love working at a junkyard, and I think I might give it a try. I'll let everyone know how it turns out.

Unless someone changed it already you display is blue. The green displays are very dark green and the blue displays are more of a teal color.

There was a lot of discussion and a writeup w/ pics on how to change the BUTTONS from a lincoln with the DISPLAY and internals of a SHO unit.

For some reason the internals were a little different on various years.

Sorry I can't point you that way, but you can find it w/ search........
