I don't make any $ from those. I have a local shop make them for me, that is why they take long to ship sometimes. I have never had anyone say that they didn't like the power increase from the pipes either. The only reason i offer them is because no one else sells catless y-pipes anymore, and they are the best bang for your buck mod.
As far as $20 worth of material goes the 02 bungs alone almost cost that, then there is the time it takes to make it up, the cost of the pipe, the flanges, and let's not forgot about the machine used to bend the pipe and the welder. NCtaurusSHO you always say "i made a turbo kit for $75 or that only cost $20", but you always seem to forgot that time is money, and when you can get parts for free that doesn't mean everyone else can. If you want to make better y-pipes and sell them for $20 i'll buy everyone you make. **** i'll take a few of those $75 turbo kits so i can melt pistons and make 240 whp too

I’m with ya on that one. I remember back in the day a lot of people talked bad about “Alfitz.com” when I worked there. We treated every SHO customer like it was one of us. That is just how it goes though. You can’t please everyone. ****, I remember we would pull parts off of one of our personal cars just because we knew that we would have that part coming in soon on a parts car, but didn’t want the customer to wait a long time for the part. :thumb:

Now that the SHO shop is gone, there isn't anyone in the community I really worry about. I think it's just ******* most of these one-two man operations since they have day jobs.

Sorry, I see that some people have posted good experiences with Bittersweet SHO, But not eveyone is happy, I too ordered a Y pipe and air intake kit. Waited weeks, had to threaten to get my money back on the air intake that was never shipped. I was never told it would take weeks, I just placed my order online and never heard from him until I started asking questions a week or so later. As far as the Ypipe goes, The one I recieved weeks after ordering was a disaster. I just spent hours under my car trying to modify and make it fit. The o2 bung on the rear pipe is welded looking straight at the transmission! Not even close to being in the correct spot. The flanges are used rusty flanges that have been silver painted and all the paint is coming off. Instead of cutting a nice hole for the o2 bungs someone used a torch and made a huge mess, all the welding on this Ypipe looks like it was done by a amateur. Lots of slag and pinhole leaks filled with silver paint! Lastly the rear exit pipe is pointed up at the floorboard when bolted up. This makes it impossible to attach the exhaust. Nothing about this Y pipe is professional or correct. I cant believe that anyone has had one fit properly. Tomorrow I am spending another $150 to have the bung moved and have the piping rebent so it will fit my car. I hope my experience is rare and nobody else is put in this position.

Extremely concerned!

I have ordered y pipe from bittersweet sho on first week of may, Havent gotten it.. I tried to be very patient.. yes we have been somewhat communicating thur email and even called him. I tho' only problem was the manfacturing time that takes too long but until I seen the y pipe they made for syp surely look like crap... that got me concerned because the unit on his website sure look good compared to the one in pix above. I am thinking probably good idea is to back out and get one from summit with cat... oh man I dunno!

Every y-pipe is made up on a SHO with a stock exhaust, bolted up, then shipped out. Anyone who isn't pleased can send their y-pipe back and get a refund. I will no longer be offering y-pipes.
