Well, thats Complete BS! Tom, I spoke w/ you directly more then two months ago and Spring Zing was brought up in the conversation. You might remember the conversation... I called because the SVT Contour pictures on your website came from the SVT/SHO Society website without permission.
Your exact words were "Sounds really interesting, let me take a look into it and see what we can do and I will get back in touch with you."
The call from you never came...

Another thing that I found funny was a thread over on Club GP not to long ago where they were complaining about SHO Sho.... I mean Ram Air Technologies. Imagine that, SHO Shop and RAT are the same company and have people postign the same complaints...
for those that don't believe me check out the What the Better Business Bureau has to say about them

there's just one thing that bugs me. The BBB report was opened on February of 1998, and they go 3 years before they publish what they have found. So you've had 4 years of bad manufacturers? I'm just a bit skeptical

The first complaint was filed in feb of 98 and the most recent was filed june '01. They didn't wait 3 years to publish that.

Good. This thread is really going nowhere, and is only serving as a bash-session.

The intent of this area is to bring to someone's attention a good or bad vendor service experience.

I tried keeping you guys focused on current affairs, but it keeps coming back to old stuff (& stuff that's not even related to our cars - GTP?).

Chris, I think you've made your experiences known. I don't think anyone's vague on the fact that you're not happy with SS with your recent purchase.

Mark, I think it's a valid point about SZ, but people do forget sometimes. It happens. I'm sure Tom wasn't bashing SZ, just saying he didn't remember hearing about it per se.

I don't think there's any point in further past-bashing ANY shop. A complaint was made, Tom has been gracious enough to address it publicly, has asked for some understanding, and quite honestly hasn't been given a chance to turn things around yet. It takes time folks, and mistakes are still going to happen. One suggestion to Tom might be to say to a customer asking on the delivery of a backordered part, "..well the shop SAYS I'll have them tomorrow, but until I have them in my hands, I can't give you a firm date. When they come in (or ship, or whatever), I'll give you a call."

Also guys, perhaps a Poll Question about "Have you had a good, bad, or neutral experience with SHO Shop in the past year" would be a better way to gauge a number of people's experiences without going off the deep end.

In any case, this particular thread is closed to further rant. If you have a different NEW experience with SHO Shop, please feel free to post it here. Thanks.
