Any actual joining process?

I live in Kalamazoo, Michigan and am attempting to get a better SHO than I have right now..mine has an engine leak, radiator leak, and a bad PS pump and a tad bit of rust =[. Anyways, is there any actual joining process or is it just 'say hi and your in?'

Well, we used to have a few hazing rituals that involved my house and parts, but since I moved out of the Zoo, they're no more.

What school you go to?

As you can see, there's several of us from the Zoo and surrounding areas. we often all get together in the summer time and either hang out as a crew or hang out with another local car club (www.kzoorice.com), but I'd stay off that site until you've been properly introduced to them guys...they can be a tad rough.

I am from the Zoo (kinda) also.....hopefully by summer you will see me around on weekends in a blue 94 ATX and a 92 tempo......also, if you need help...I am usually around and will give a hand if at all possible.

And the site tim just mentioned.......when you first join, its like being in a ring full of hungry bears and having slabs of tender **** all over your body, YOU JUST DON"T DO IT!!! lol.

I'm in the process of attempting to purchase a white ATX from someone else here on the forums, it's the one with the shot tranny. I was going to purchase another tranny and do a swap and then sell my red ATX. Still testing the water to see if I can get my hands on an MTX. I know there's one at Perk's Auto Parts but I'm not sure if it's in good condition. I always remember to call them after 8 pm which is when they close. =[ Oh, and I go to Portage Central High School. I've seen another red SHO there too, parked in the staff parking lot.

There used to be an official club, then it went away, then another one came in and went away, and now it's just kinda people chatting on here and setting up the occasional meet.

I used to deliver pizzas to Portage Central, and I know which SHO you're talking about.


If you've ever seen a Silver 92 with a black hood and wheels, a half red, half black 95, or a loud ass 98 without mufflers, you've seen one of my cars...most likely with a Domino's topper on the roof.


BTW....skip the ATX altogether. Get an MTX, learn how to handle the rock, and have more fun without worrying about when your tranny's gonna grenade.

Apparently we were supposed to get 5 inches last night, but I don't think we did. My mom said we had a snow warning and I pretty much ignored that, not that I ignore everything my mom says.

I'll be graduating next year =] and I don't know how the SHO emblem fade got there...hrm.

Before someone asks (as I had someone ask), my ipod is connected to the casette player because the CD player really doesn't work that well. I'm going to put a new stereo in if I don't sell it.

This snow is ******* me off. We had pretty good whether there for a while, all the snow had melted and everything. And then the first day of Spring we're supposed to get 6"-10." This sucks.

Anywho, welcome to the club. Err, site. We usually do meets once in a while in the summer (as was mentioned before) and a couple years ago we actually had quite a few nice breakfast/lunch meets, but those kind of died off.

Well, if you want another PS steering pump, I have a few lying around (really wish I was kidding about that...) but it happens.

Every SHO owner I have met in Kalamazoo (expect the ones on here...) have always been A-holes. I saw a blue or green one in portage and stopped to talk to the guy, and he acted like I was ******** (which I am at times, so I don't feel bad...) whats even funnier is when I stop and talk to tempo owners, lol.


And I think since Denny is back in town......everyone that is old enough should have a meet tonight with him at way side.....

Wayside? Oh **** no...I used to go to that bar with a Marine buddy of mine with the sole intention of taking three tequila shots and then finding out how long it'd take before we got kicked out. I think our record for staying is 7 minutes, 43 seconds.


I'm so surprised neither of us landed in jail....between wayside and getting totally banned from firehouse.....
