antenna motor

ok here's the problem, my power antenna is broken. The motor seems to be fine( it runs every time the radio is turned on and off, trying to raise/lower the mast) , but whatever connects the mast to the antenna motor down inside has broken, so the antenna no longer goes up or down. it was up for a while, but then my dad forced it down to take the car through the carwsh.. anyway, is there any way to fix this without removing and replacing the entire antenna motor?

You will most likely have to pull the fender liner, remove the inside cover plate on the motoer, and remove the broken piece of drive cord by hand.

I just did this last week. Very easy job. Just follow the shotimes instructions. The mast may give you some resistance when you are trying to pull it out so be prepared.
