After removing the stock radio & cd player, I haven't been able to use the power antenna. If I can remember correctly, the power going to the antenna came from an orange wire with a plastic connector piece that attched to the stock unit. Currently, I have a Pioneer DEH-P7600MP unit hooked up to an amp with 2 subs. The diagram below shows the blue/white wire that I spliced the light blue remote wire with that goes back to the amp. The instructions show that the power antenna hookup would also need to be spliced to the blue/white wire. I just want to make sure that this is the correct way of going about this, as I don't want to fry anything. Any help greatly appreciated guys.

That's exactly what you need to do. You just splice the orange wire along with your amp lead (blue?) to that wire. If you are using an aftermarket harness you will have to splice the blue (amp lead) wire and the (sky)blue/white (ant) wire to that wire. If those wires don't exist there's a way to do it using the dimmer wire but you will have to have your lights on anytime you want your antenna up.

Okay, exactly what I thought. Just to make sure, yes I took the light blue (or sky blue if you will) wire that runs from the remote hookup on the amp, and spliced it together with the blue/white wires,1 which came from the wiring harness, and the other which came from the head unit. Now all I will have to do is splice the orange wire from the power antenna to the sky blue wire that runs to and from the amp and WAH - LAH. And yea, I'd feel pretty bad for anyone that would have to keep their interior lights on in order for the antenna to stay up
