Answer to "Weird Lighting Problem"

I got the car back from the dealer today. The problem was in the resistor wires for the Lamp Out Warning module. These wires had completely burned through their insulation and caused several shorts to power and ground. This, in turn, caused other wires to burn through their insulation. Anyhoo...we got the bad sections of wire replaced (thankfully it was all contained in the harness next to the driver's side back seat) and everything works dandy now. I did have to unplug the Lamp Out Warning module so the dash light won't stay on all the time. Thanks for all for your time and help.

Hmmm....Interesting..... Glad to see it got repaired and the head's up if I ever run across one with same concern. But most of all ..........glad to see those door adjar switches are well lubricated! Right Mark?Only having a little fun,don't take me seriously.
