another ticking issue

Ok so I finally got a stethoscope, I have a ticking noise that would not be as bad sometimes but sometimes its way too loud, checked and I hear a loud ticking noise in the middle of the injectors rail, and can hear some of the noise just not as loud near cyl 3 when I place it on the valve cover driver side near firewall. Any ideas? by the way car runs great no issues other than the noise

Are you just hearing the Injectors Firing?

All of my SHO's "Tick"...Just normal Valvetrain noise....

Now, If it's a noticeable knocking...you may have issues.

Mine ticks and it has for the past 200k.

Yea I read that most people have regular ticking but mine will get really loud like a diesel engine, I've searched a lot but didn't get no answer, read timming tensioner but that's on the opposite side

If it ticks that loud then there might be a problem.

Sounds like it may be a timing chain tensioner.

You will have to pull the valve cover.

Well one of my sparkplug seal is leaking anyway so I guess ill go ahead and pull them, and go from there

im having the same problem was told it could need a valve adjustment
