Finally starting my project and I have run into a snag. I need some help with the throw out bearing setup. I have searched all the threads I could find but I can't find any that say specifically what was used when using the Aerostar bell with the BW T5 5spd trans. I went with this setup based on what I read about the SHO powered Healey. But the Aerostar HTOB assembly will not work with the BW T5 trans. So before I fab something I thought I would seek some help. Got the adapt plate made no problem. Puts the input shaft in the right place. Any sugesstions anyone?

I believe also that you need to trim that aluminum input shaft collar/bearing retainer back inorder to fit that annular TOB on the T-5. I am using the same setup on Another Woman, I just need to remove the collar and chuck it in the lathe. I've been hesitating because there is an upgrade that is made of steel that I might opt for, which means I can sell the old aluminum one if it's not modified.

Thanks for the response. The Aero TOB does fit the TOB sleeve on the T5. But it is just the TOB. The slave unit is just too small. Removing that sleeve on the Trans would put the unit out to far.
So today I was thinking about this at work. I think I will spend some time researching the applications for the T5. Then go to RockAuto ( great place to look for parts BTW ) and look for the part.
90's model Ford F150s had a HTOB but the ID is not right even if I take some material off the bearing collar.
I am thinking Chevy also used these transmissions.
I am tempted to just use the mustang TOB fork and fab a mount but I like the idea of the hydraulic unit and no cable.
OFF Road Sho I bought my Trans from MPS Auto Salvage out of Georgia from ebay, so they may have the collar. They specialize in mustang parts.
Anyway I will post what i find.

iirc, someone used the Mustang fork and put a Subaru external clutch slave on it - you might dig into that possibility.
