Codes 335,336 are for the dpfe sensor. Code 565 is for the cannister purge solenoid, check for a vacuum leak.

I was just doing some reading, I got the 225, knock code, and was doing some thinking. I remember before I started having the problems I am having now I did hear pinging going up hills slow at a lower rpm. Now I just dont have any power and never hear pinging. Could a bad knock sensor be causing my problems?

I have reset the computer 2 more times and pulled codes after driving, and I keep getting the 225 code, my question is, what will a bad knock sensor make the car run like??

To give you your answer, I'll run through what the knock sensor does. If it hears knock, or a loud noise resembling knock it will send this to the EEC. From there, the ECC will pull back timing. If you have a bod knock sensor the EEC will constantly be seeing knock and will pull back timing as much as it can. In short it should act like the car is in limp-home mode.

where is the dpfe sensor and the cannister purge solenoid located?

the dpfe sensor is located on the back of the intake. It has the red and green vacuum lines going to it. The canister purge solenoid is located toward the front of the transmission, in line with the vacuum line that goes from the charcoal canister located at the lower left front of the car to the front part of the intake near the throttle body.

ok, i did some work today, checked crank bolt, and it was loose, but the key stock looked ok, close one. Seemed to drive better and ticking went away, but not 100% power. Now I got an update on codes.....koeo, 157....koer, 159, 141, 411, 311, 225. The car does idle rough and when I unplug the MAF it idles better, but runs worse. I did clean the MAF with MAF cleaner. I bought a new knock sensor, but I dont think it is a problem. Any suggestions? thanks

Curious, because according to SHOtimes listing, the 157 (mafs circuit below min voltage) should not come up during the koeo test....

159 (mafs out of self test range) suggests that the mafs needs replaced, not just cleaned.

141 isn't on my list.... nor is 311...

411 (cannot control idle speed during low speed test) suggests a sticky iac.

225 (knock sensor not detected) suggests the knock sensor is deaf or the connector is not making connection.

I'd suggest running the codes one more time to confirm what you recorded.
