Another Power Window Motor Question

On my 90 in the drivers door there is a bracket to which the window motor is fastened with 3 bolts. After removing the bolts there does not appear to be a way to remove the motor which projects through a hole in the metal bracket. Bending the bracket, which appears to be about 0.050 inches thick, is one suggested way to remove the motor. After reading through about 30 posts I have concluded that one can either remove the rivets or bend the bracket to remove the motor.
