Another blown RDU

My RDU was replaced approx 1k miles ago, symptoms started back up and I have been diagnosed with another blown unit. Thankfully it was covered under warranty but still a fairly short lifespan. Dealer mentioned that it was possibly the tires that caused this? I have a matching set and tread depth is fair and consistent. Is it true or is the dealer just trying to sell me parts

Tires are not going to cause a failure of the RDU.

Particularly when yours are as good as you describe.

Be leery of upsales for no reason other than they're trying to upsell you for their own benefit.
