Mines not the JBL system just premium sound, I do however have the voltage stepdown harness thing I got from Circuit City to lower the power going to the amp.

bypass the amp from the factory should fix the problem and the pioneer has more power the the factory amp anyway

Is there a simple way to bypass it or do i need to run all new wires?

go to best buy and buy an amp bypass harness they will know what you need we do it all the time

hay also some times there are plugs below the radio and you can bypass there with out buying anything if you can take some pics so i can see what you are dealing with email to me so its not all over the net for people to see your system
