I had the engine steamed cleaned on Saturday and since then the climate control has been reading (-40 degrees) and will not change. Self diagnostic test indicated a code 04--Ambient temp sensor open or short. Any chance the steam would have been hot enough to damage the sensor?? Anyone know where I could find one (Autozone, Advance, Napa, etc...)???

THANK YOU!

SHO engine + steam cleaning = CHECK ENGINE lights

Would you clean your computer with steam?

You probably have moisture in the sensor or its wiring that is causing the short. If this is the only code you get after that cleaning, consider yourself lucky. Very lucky.
