I am having a **** of time selling my SHO, not only here but in the local paper as well. I really do not want to sell it, but it is the only alternative that makes sense for me right now. Here is my ad in the classifieds:
http://www.shoforum.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/000377.html

I think $9400 is a fair price considering that Kbb lists private part value at $10,610 and the NADA trade in value is $10,500.

Perhaps this is not consistent with the market. Any advice on what I might actually expect to get would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I think $9400 is a very good price. Especially with the exhaust. I paid $10,700 is oct. for pretty much the same car but no mods. I would definatley buy yours if I was in the market.

Alot of people can't justify the price when they look in the paper and see other 97 SLO's for 3-4 thousand. People just see these as normal taurus's with people asking alot of money. To sell these things, unfortuneatly, you have to get the price down low. No offense Gianni, sounds like you paid toooo much for your SHO. There are a couple around here for 7995 with around 60,000 miles. SHO's are (sadly) only popular with a small group of people found with in our interenet family.

I probably paid a little too much, but cars usually go for a little more in Mass., especially in the boston area.
