ALpine 6 changer replace the stock

i have a alpine changer and was wondering if i can replace it with the stock without running it threw the fm stereo. thanx

I don't think so.. I could be wrong.. but the stock stero has hookups made specifically for the Mach system (or JBL).

In order for it to work, I think you would have to know your way around and splice some wires out of the amp connector and also make sure the wattage in the amp is correct for the system too.

There are a couple of companies that make adapters for cd changers. I've got one for a Kenwood changer. One company is PIE (peripheral interface enterprise or something like that). I can't remember the other one off the top of my head.
