All cams welded Still engine tick on idle?

Does not seem to be injectors? Can't locate the tick but seems to be in the front head towards the water pump side. Any body have any insight? Could it be valve lash?

i get a bit of a tick when i start the car up soon as the oil light go's out its pretty much gone....

mines the oppsite but it only last for like 6-10 secs and then it slowly go's away

mine sounds like an exhaust leak kind of...

timing chain tensioners. The noise goes away as the oil pressure builds in the tensioners.

I have an exhaust leak that ticks for a 30 seconds or so at cold engine startup.

Just Must be a Gen 3 SHO Characteristic!

Just Must be a Gen 3 SHO Characteristic! I had the valve cover off checked shims and all are ok. Everything looks in order and checks out? Chain tension is tight. Can't find any problems?

Hmm, I know it's already been said, but mine ticked (severly) before I had mine welded. Once welded, all gone.
