Good afternoon.
I am having an airbag code pop up since yesterday and its a 52. I did a search and one post was for a 52 for some voltage drop but no one replied to him. My cruise control has never worked but the horn does just fine. I recently replaced the headlights with new ones about two - three weeks ago. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Well somehow it has changed itself from a 52 to a 13 just over this weekend. What is a thirteen and how did it just change by itself and the 52 disappear?
Thanks.

13 Air Bag Circuit Shorted to Ground

Ok so is there any more kind of clarification on this? This light is getting annoying to say the least.
I suppose i will go through the front of the car and look for ground wires and whatever else odd.

Well I took a look around the front of the car and all I found was on the drivers side around where the headlight is was the small black box just hanging. I think this is the crash sensor perhaps but there isn't anywhere to hang it up. I disconnected the battery for the afternoon but the light still came back. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Look for how it attaches from the opposite side. There are 3 crash sensors in front. One on each side and one near the radiator support. If that has tripped you can replace it with a known good used one. I did this on my 1990 SHO years ago.

The code 13 caused the 52. Somewhere it shorted out one of the wires and blew the fuse in the control box. I done this one time by accident. What you need to do is prob the wires on the modules and check resistance to ground as you wiggle the harness around to find the fault. Of course only do this after disabling the system. Once you found and fix the fault you can replace the abs comp.

Sorry for the delay. How do you disable the system. Is there anything that would tie into the pass rear window not working. Both happened at the same time. Driver side never worked as I think the motor needs to be rebuilt. I hope to go thru fuses once I get home
Thanks
