This is on my 95 MTX. Searched this online, found 34 is a low resistance in the drivers airbag. I've gotten sporadic instances where the airbag light starts flashing it when I start the car, but not always. Checked the airbag connector inside the steering wheel, it seems ok. The horn and cruise are working, but if I turn the wheel a bit, then restart the car the light does it's bulb check and stays off. I swapped out the airbag and steering wheel around the beginning of the year to the older style 92 and older (I like it better), and did splice on the 93+ connector to the airbag itself, and the connection there is still fine. I've done this swap on my other 95 ATX and it seems to be totally fine.
Should I be looking at the clockspring in this case? Has anyone replaced this and where can you buy one? I don't see it anywhere on rock auto.
