I searched the forums because I hate to ask questions previously answered a thousand times, but got nothing. Maybe I didn't use the right words :nut:

Anyone know what air bag code 22 on a 94 ATX would be? Haveing some strange electrical problems...

remember to unhook your battery for 2-3 minutes before ever touching something related to the airbag system. Getting a shop manual or downloading one (there is a free website but it's SLOW) will help as it has step by step pinpointing tests that include safety procedures.

But fix you batt cables and other issues before working on the airbag... if the safing sensor is throwing off a code maybe it's saving your ass from an unexpected punch in the face.

Thanks so much :) It says "shorted to battery voltage..." Does that mean it has something to do with the same problem here then? Just doing a few checks to reinforce what I already suspect the problem is. Just waiting on cables and want to see if I have any other problems. That would be great if that one thing fixed it all lol. I am sure it's never that easy ;)
