Agsp32c?!?

WTF? That's what was in my new car. They're very short, very dirty, and there was only 5 of them. The other was an Autolite AGSP32FM, and of the 6 total, only 3 had any torque on them at all. The other 3 I used the socket and extension to break them free by hand. Anyone know what the C's are from/for? I've THINK I've heard of them somewhere, but I'm gonna assume I haven't.

The AGSP32C is simply a copper version of the original AGSP32PP plug. Usually only people running some kind of power adder run coppers, but people on a shoestring budget have been known to as well. The Motorcraft AGSP32FM is now the current replacement plug.

I just got my hands on the last 6 AGSP32PPs that O'Reilly had in Texas. I like them much better than the FM's, I've heard nothing but bad news about the FMs, and the C's look kinda small...

How many cars have you used the FM's in, and from whom are you hearing this "bad news"???

We've been using the FM's since early this year, and have had nothing but positive results, probably in close to 100 cars now. In fact, the V8 SHO's came from the factory with FM plugs. The Ford FM plugs are still "double" platinum, with a platinum ground electrode, platinum-nickel fine wire center electrode. They are technically superior to the PP plugs as the fine wire requires less voltage to fire.

The AGSP32C plug is dimentionally identical to the 32PP plug.

Yeah I've had my FMs in for a while. They've not given me any issues

FYI Chris, the AGSP32C & the AGSP32PP are not 100% identical size-wise. I did a side-by-side comparison a few years ago (when I had that one bad plug that the insulator was sliding up & down on?), and one's just a tad shorter than the other.

Without getting into the FM / PP debate, the PP's are readily available from Ford, as I've been ordering & receiving them in whatever qty I want at my local dealer.

The plug I WISH I could find more of would be the AGSP22C, one heat range colder than the 32C, for nitrous & supercharged applications. I believe I used the 22C version of the V8 plug the last time I swapped them out in the 91. I have 10 of the AGSP22C plugs sitting on the shelf for the next time I swap them out. Maybe I'll just eBay them for $200 or something instead.
