So I ordered this from the other side of the planet:

After digging into the specs on the OEM Gen 3 flasher, this looked to be a good fit. Wrong.

Does anybody know of or have experience with an adjustable flasher that works in a Gen 3? I know the design is a basic rheostat connected into the relay guts, but before I go that route, I'd like to eliminate any possible simple solutions first. Intent is to have bright LED bulbs on a slightly slower flash rate.

Thank you

Nevermind. I had to switch the + and - with what the OEM flasher pigtail was expecting. This was a suggestion from the Amazon listing page where I bought the flasher. It seems to be working well after a thorough test. $6.50 +/- was the cost, and shipping was only a couple of bucks. I now have bright rear LED bulbs on a nice slow flash, with NO LOAD RESISTORS.
I even made another vid:
Oh yeah, cruise control works fine! I think maybe that's an issue with the high-center brake lamp, which currently contain incandescents.
