Has anyone installed a metal aftermarket lower grille that has ACC? I just was curious if the metal grille will interfere with radar module. Working on installing ACC in my car and I have the billet top and lower grille already. I noticed on the factory cars it's behind plastic...but the whole bumper cover is plastic so not sure if that really means anything or not.

Ok I successfully added adaptive cruise with collision warning to my 2013 SHO. But I can tell you the radar sensor does not like the billet aluminum grille. So I'm working on making a mount to mount it behind some plastic of the bumper cover. Next on the list is adding lane keeping system!

I am interested in doing both... someone posted here about the lane departure and I inquired for details, but never responded. Di you have the details (parts, As-Built edits, etc.) required for Adaptive cruise/ Collision Warning?

Yeah let me work on getting a how to article typed up and I'll post it.

Biggest thing is the radar module...I took a chance and bought one from a junk yard for $100. Worked out, but I also spent time looking at their pictures for a car that wasn't hit in the front. (Which is hard to find!) But I found one...Ford wants over $400 for the radar module by itself. The factory bracket is another $200...which I have one if someone wants it. Other then that you need a $30 wiring connector, $23 cruise control switch and some Forscan programming. If you want to add collision warning you will need the $78 HUD and $91 defrost vent and another $30 wiring connector pigtail.
