After running the codes in my car this and VSS came up. The guy I bought it from said he replaced it already so i'm guessing I need to clear the codes but the Rich mode now makes sense as to why it was stalling at stop light and such. Yet ran great on the highway with bad fuel enconmy.

Anyone have experience with this. As I was pulling out my silencer I remember the guy said something about a TSB with the Mass Air Meter so I figure he may have goofed it up somehow. I swapped it with the one from my 90 and it still ran a bit rough for a little while and now it dosent stall at lights and such. Could I really have "stumbled" upon my problem and now how do I clear the codes?

Codes are cleared by pulling the jumper while the codes are being outputted.

Perhaps the MAF sensor element needs cleand. Very common problem on Fords.

So is it running normally now with the MAF from your 90, or is it still having issues, just not as severe?

Yeah it been running fine today without stalling. Still gets a little low on idle and almost stalled only once. But MUCH better. Definetely needs a tune up and god know what else. I think the SFBs are toast. Still unsure of how to reset the computer. Pulling a plug while it's taking codes dosent sound very good.
