ok, to make a long story short i slid my sho backward down an imbankment into the woods and got it towed back out. everything feels ok, and it runns/brakes/rides perfect, but now the rear driver's side wheele is toed and cambered a slight bit different. i'm thinking bent controll arms, but it's too dark to check right now so i'll have to see in the morning. anything else anyone can think of to check?

Sounds like they bent the control arm which will need to be bent back. Depending on how fast you went down the embankment, you are looking at 4-wheel aliagnment.

You might have bent the strut. I have before on two occasions.

checked it out more today, both controll arms on that side look bent. the strut was loose in the hub (??) and the pinch bolt was loose. i tightened it and the play in the hub seemed to go away (didn't have much time to mess this morning) I'm going tomorrow to check in to the controll arms a bit more (with a press and a torch)

and i really hope i didn't bend a strut considering that they are less than 100 miles old.
also bought adjustable bushings in an attempt to get the rear more into alignment.
