Does this fitting unthread from the AC line or is it crimped in place?

Will the 4 Seasons #55920 Discharge line work as a replacement? It lists 89 - 93 as the compatible vehicle... So I'm not sure if this will work with my R-134A system or if I'll need a charge adapter?

that fitting does not unthread, but you can change the 'guts' of the valve if that is where it is leaking.

the 89-93 line will have the R12 fitting on it, so you would need an adapter to the R134a fitting if you wanted to use it. I don't know if it is identical otherwise, but I suspect it is.
