I have a 94-3.2 SHO. I have successfully removed the clutch assembly. Now, how do I remove the GD Coil? As you know there is about 3 inches between the coil and the frame. My Snap ring plier removal tool will not reach that deep inside w/the 90 degree tip and I cannot go straight in because of the limited space. Anyone had success without removing the ac assembly?

Thanks

Joe

sho32g,

Sorry, the best way to access the snap ring is to unbolt the compressor from the mount so you can tilt it. You do not have to disconnect any of the lines to do this.

Pay attention to the snap rings. The bevelled side faces up. rangerj
