abs motor location?

where exactly is the abs motor located and what does it look like?

i tried following the drivers side sensor cable but it seemed to lead into a fat wad of other cables.

i thought it was on the drivers side somewhere by the airbox? what does it look like?

It's on the driver's side at the front of the car directly under the ABS computer (in my '92 - dunno what year yours is). Follow the brake lines as there are a ton of them coming in/out of it.

But why does it matter?

i heard unplugging the abs motor will cripple the abs and halt the anti lock light from turning on.. i have a problem i have to remedy and in the meantime would like to drive without an abs light or my abs system from turning on whenever it pleases.

pulling the fuse cripples the system but then the abs light is on all the time as i understand it.
