ABS light + no codes

My ABS light is on steady all the time. it used to be intermittant now it is constantly on from start up. I've used the procedure here:

however when i turn the key on the light is on steady, it never flashes any codes. I've checked the two grounds coming from the ABS module. I've searched and couldnt find another situation like this. if anyone has any hints or tips it would be appreciated.

I think it means the ABS controller is FUBARed.

I concur, every time we've seen this a different computer cleared the problem right up.

replacing the controller didnt do a thing. when i get more time i'm going to test the abs test connector, to make sure the ground terminal is good.

Did you check your tire pressure?

I believe it can be the computer. It can also be the connecters to either the computer, or a wss. Make sure there isn't any debris on any of the magnets on the wheel speed sensors. Also check to see if the rings are in good shape. Another thing to check on the sensors is the gap. Otherwise I would wiggle the connecters and see if the light goes out.
