Well, my ABS needs some help.

So i go into pepboys today to try and get the sensor. Guy shows me, a wheel speed sensor (which wouldn't fit) priced at 14.99. Then tells me the other is something ABS related, i'm like ok how much? he said like 1xx something, i said no way.

So, i need help. I don't know what its called, but it goes in the hub/knuckle and connected with one bolt and has what looks like a pretty decently sized wire on it with a 2 pin/prong connector on the end. I thought it was called a "ABS wheel" sensor.

Pretty sure i need 2, one for the front right and one for the back right.

THEN i need the ABS proportioning valve. I don't know what i need for that yet, but i think its just some bolt or bolts missing.

I'm gonna have the car on a lift tommorrow, so i'll get some clear pics.

With these things done, i'm FINALLY after 2 1/2 years, gonna have the MTX SHO on the road. :)

Start over.

What are your ABS codes? Instructions are stickied at the top of this forum.

Do not replace any parts based on codes. There are individual diagnostic steps that should be followed before concluding any part is in need of replacement.

So, uh...i bought the wrong side knuckle... and its a wheel sensor. Look at the car right now on the lift. Guess i made a boo boo. :( But it looks like for the pro. valve, i just need a nut to connect this thing all together. So thats good. Also so the E-brake connector backed all the way out, tighted it some and now i have a E-brake. :)
