So the light is on...I've tried resetting the EEC, nothing...

It just stays on. When I do the little wire jumper trick for the ABS diagnostics connector, the ABS light blinks 1 time, then 7 times, then that's it...so since they are 2 digit codes I figured it was a 17....but It may have blinked once just to say it was starting, and it's a 7...

Any help?

Should I just go buy a code reader and see what I get then?

edit: BTW The light comes on as SOON as you start the car, not when braking or anything...so I'm thinking a problem with the electronics, not sensors...

I don't think that you can just buy a generic ABS code reader, those require special readers that some shops and all dealerships have. I would first check and make sure that all the wheel sensors are plugged in. If they arn't it will cause the light to come on as you state it does. The front two lead into just next to the strut tower, just follow the wire and you will find the connection. The rear ones plug in underneath the back seat, probably arn't unplugged, but who knows. It is a used car...

Fuse? I've got the abs fuse out of my '93 until I get the time to replace a cracked ring on a front axle and without it the light is on as soon as I start the car. Good luck with it :thumb:
