are the 89 spindles the same as 93 spindles? arent they all the same up until 94??

No, 89 does not have previsions for ABS sensors on front and rear, and the 89 has open bearings in the rear.

but could you fit 89 front spindles on a 93? just not have ABS?

There was also a change made to the spindles between January and February of 1991. Same size rotors, but there must have been some change to the rotor hat depth and caliper design.
